Some runway presentations are severe and serious; some are Parisian chic – and some, like Galliano for Christian Dior, are seriously over the top. But this one here takes the cake – and it’s not Dior or even in Paris. These wild and wooly color block looks are on the spring 2011 runway in Mexico City. Now, do women in Mexico dress like this? We don’t think so. But it’s interesting to see designers get so creative and colorful. Are those animal masks on the models’ heads in honor of Halloween? Probably not, but we can interpret them that way, because we are in a costume kind of a mood!
